Hi! I'm Alex.

Horses have been part of my life quite literally from the beginning — I was put on a horse by my parents before I could walk, and I don’t remember a time when I wasn’t happiest in the company of ponies. What started as childhood joy has grown into a lifelong commitment to understanding, caring for, and building deep partnerships with horses of all types, ages, and personalities.

Today, my two horses are at the heart of everything I do.
Omora, my 30 year old Dutch Warmblood mare, has been my pride and joy since 2003. She has carried me through life’s milestones, taught me more than any textbook ever could, and continues to inspire the calm, attentive, patient approach that defines POMP.
Fletcher, our 12-year-old Gypsy Cob, joined the family two years ago and brings with him a gentle spirit, endless character, and daily reminders of why I love what I do.

Horses aren’t just my work, they are my life.
Every service I offer is rooted in decades of experience, genuine understanding, and the belief that every horse deserves thoughtful, attentive, and consistent care. Whether I'm providing daily support, looking after a horse in an owner's absence, or offering full concierge-level oversight, my goal is always the same: complete peace of mind for both horse and owner, hence the name!

The Daily POMP- Essential routine care, when you need it.

£25/hour*

Perfect for owners who want confidence in every detail of their horse’s basic daily needs. The Daily POMP is ideal for occasional visits, one-off cover or those times when you simply need a trusted professional to take care of your horse's normal routine.

The Peace of Mind Plan- Enhanced service with absence coverage, photo updates, welfare liaison.

£30 /hour*

Your horse’s care, fully managed in your absence.

The Peace of Mind Plan is for owners who want more than a single visit.

Whether you're away on holiday, travelling for work, attending an event or simply unable to be there, POMP becomes your trusted local point of contact — keeping an eye on your horse, communicating with you and dealing with the details that need attention.

This is fully managed horse care, not simply a grooming visit.

Includes everything in The Daily POMP, plus:

Full groom and feet pick
Photo and video updates
Daily or weekly POMP Reports
Closer monitoring of behaviour, appetite and welfare
Communication with the owner throughout the agreed period
Liaison with yard staff
Liaison with vets, farriers and other equine professionals
Attendance at agreed appointments where required
Coordination of changes to your horse's routine
Prompt escalation of anything unusual or concerning

We will always alert owners to any unusual behaviours, feed issues, or health concerns.

Christmas Day/Boxing Day/Bank Holiday cover bookings are available at a premium rate. Early morning and late evening visits are also available by arrangement.

POMP Concierge

From £40 /hour

Your personal equine PA

Concierge POMP provides remote administrative, organisational and logistical support for horse owners who have the resources to enjoy their horses — but not always the time to manage everything that comes with them.

Vet, farrier, physiotherapist, dentist appointments
Competition entries, travel arrangements, and logistics
Seasonal checks (vaccinations, worming, dental, shoeing schedules)
Provide show-day or travel-day checklists
Order supplies (feed, rugs, grooming products, supplements)
Organise deliveries to the yard or stables
General office admin

Whatever service you choose, POMP will always alert you to anything unusual, including changes in behaviour, appetite, routine or welfare.

Before your first booking, we'll take the time to understand your horse, their routine and your expectations.

Your first POMP relationship begins with:

01 — Initial Consultation
We get to know you and your horse.

02 — Yard Assessment
We familiarise ourselves with the yard, access arrangements and relevant rules.

03 — Individual Care Plan
We agree your horse's routine and specific requirements.

04 — First POMP Visit
Your horse gets to know POMP in a calm, familiar and unhurried way.

We cover Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire and parts of Middlesex. Travel beyond 5 miles or UB9 6HP is £0.50/mile
